STORKS - Cinoniidae Greater Adjutant Stork Leptoptilos dubius
These birds are found in the wetlands of southeast Asia. In Vietnam they are found from the center to the south. They live in swamps, rocky fields and flat fields. Sometimes they appear in dry land. They lay two to four eggs in each brood which can incubate for 30 to 45 days. The Greater Adjutant Stork in Hanoi Zoo came from Danang province in August 1989.
