The Muntjak is nocturnal, which means that it active in the night and it is sleeping at day time, and het lives on his own. It eats grass, leaves an all kind of fruits. In Hanoi Zoo they are fed grass, leaves, fruit and rice. The breeding season is any time of the year and the gestation period is about months. The female will give birth to one or two young. In case of mating, males will often have dangerous fights which will cause serious damage to both animals.
